What we offer

Goose Green Country Childcare

What we offer

At Goose Green children enjoy a truly enriched early years experience. Our days are filled with opportunities to explore, create, and discover through hands-on, meaningful activities that nurture curiosity and confidence.

Children take part in animal care, learning responsibility and empathy through caring for our resident animals and meeting visiting creatures. Our music, movement, and creative arts sessions spark imagination and self-expression, while gardening and growing vegetables help children understand nature, food, and sustainability from the ground up.

We make regular use of our local community and natural surroundings through forest school adventures, farm visits, and educational trips that bring learning to life. Visiting specialists enhance our curriculum with workshops in music, storytelling, science, and more.

Everything we do is designed to support a child’s sense of wonder, connection, and joy offering learning that truly goes beyond our nursery walls.

Age - We welcome children from the age of six months.

Hours - At Goose Green we offer care from 8.30am to 5.30pm for 43 weeks of the year, with flexibility for earlier drop-offs or later collections to support your family’s needs. We do request that your child joins us for a minimum of two days per week to enable secure attachments to be built with peers and adults.

Fees - £59 agency registration (one off payment).

We accept government funded hours. Government-funded hours cover early education and care, but do not include the many extra resources, activities, and meals that make our setting unique. To sustain this exceptional provision, we apply an optional Enrichment & Consumables Charge for children aged 2 years and above.
